CM Wraps LLC Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of cmwraps.com and the services provided by CM Wraps LLC ("CM Wraps," "we," "us," or "our"), a vehicle vinyl wrap, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, and window, wall, and business vinyl graphics shop based in Frisco, Texas, serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area. By requesting a quote, scheduling an appointment, or having work performed, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully, because several sections set important expectations about color, your vehicle's condition, removal, warranties, and our liability. Please note: this document is general information, not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by a qualified Texas-licensed attorney before it is published or relied upon.
Quotes and Estimates
Any price we provide before we have reviewed your vehicle, your artwork, and the full scope of the job is an estimate, not a locked-in contract. Final pricing is confirmed once we have reviewed the vehicle, measurements, design, and materials involved.
Estimates cover only the items we list. Work that is discovered later or that you add (for example, removing an existing wrap, extra design revisions, cleaning a vehicle that arrives unprepared, or wrapping additional areas such as door jambs or recesses) may be billed in addition to the estimate. We will let you know about additional charges before doing that work whenever practical.
Recommended · confirm with CollinQuotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Additional or out-of-scope work is billed at our standard shop labor rate and quoted to you before that work is performed.
Deposits and Payment
We typically require a deposit before ordering materials or beginning work, with the remaining balance due before the vehicle leaves our shop. Because our services use custom-cut and custom-printed materials and reserved installer time, deposits become non-refundable once we have begun ordering materials, printing, or production for your specific job, or once you have approved your final design proof, whichever comes first.
Recommended · confirm with CollinA 50% deposit is required to reserve your appointment and order materials, with the remaining balance due before the vehicle leaves our shop. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and electronic payment; a card-processing surcharge may apply. Vehicles left more than 7 days after completion may incur a daily storage fee.
All custom work is non-refundable once production has begun. If an issue with our workmanship arises, our remedy is to correct or redo the affected work as described in the Warranty section, not to issue a cash refund.
Design Approval and Customer-Supplied Artwork
For printed wraps and graphics, we will provide a design proof for your review. You must approve the proof before we print or produce anything, and an approval sent by email counts as your signature. Once you approve a proof, you are responsible for its spelling, colors, layout, sizing, and content. Reprints needed because of an error in an approved proof are billed to you.
If you supply your own artwork, logos, images, or fonts, we treat those files as production-ready and pre-approved. We are not responsible for poor results caused by low-resolution, pixelated, or distorted files. You confirm that you own or are licensed to use everything you supply and that our use of it will not infringe anyone else's trademark, copyright, or other rights.
Our installers may make minor on-vehicle adjustments needed to fit the material to your vehicle's contours without re-approval.
Recommended · confirm with CollinTwo rounds of design revisions are included; additional revision rounds are billed at our design rate.
Color, Finish, and Material Variance
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. Normal, physics-driven variation is part of any wrap, film, or coating, and the following are not considered defects:
- Colors and finishes shown on a screen, swatch, or sample are approximate. What you see on your monitor depends on its calibration and will differ from the printed or installed result. We cannot guarantee an exact match to a brand color, a factory paint color, or a sample.
- Vinyl and film can vary slightly in shade between manufacturing batches. We use same-batch material where we can, but minor batch-to-batch differences can occur.
- Vinyl and film cannot conform perfectly to extreme curves, deep channels, recesses, or textured surfaces. Minor seams, overlaps, relief cuts, small patches, and slight wrinkles are normal aspects of the craft and are generally judged from a few feet away, not under close inspection. Small bubbles or slivers that release on their own during the first weeks of curing are also normal.
Your Vehicle's Condition
Wrap vinyl, PPF, and coatings bond to the surface that is already on your vehicle, so the condition of that surface is your responsibility. Our products adhere properly only to sound, fully cured factory paint and clean glass.
You agree to deliver your vehicle clean, dry, and free of damage. A vehicle that arrives unprepared may incur a cleaning fee and may need to be rescheduled. You accept the risk of any pre-existing condition, including but not limited to rust, chips, scratches, dents, oxidized or peeling clear coat, prior repaints or non-factory paint, body filler, aftermarket parts, and textured surfaces.
If your vehicle has been repainted, the paint must be fully cured before we apply our products. We do not warrant results over uncured paint, repaints, or low-quality finishes. We document your vehicle's condition with photos at intake, and proceeding over compromised paint requires your written acknowledgment and removes any warranty on those areas.
Recommended · confirm with CollinA cleaning fee of $75–$150 applies if a vehicle arrives excessively dirty. Freshly repainted panels must cure for at least 30 days (60–90 days preferred) before any wrap, film, or coating is applied.
Removal Risk
Because our products bond to the surface beneath them, removing a wrap or film can affect a finish that was already weak. On sound factory paint in good condition, removal is generally clean. On failing clear coat, chipped or cracked paint, rust, body filler, or aftermarket or older repaints, removal can lift loose paint or clear coat along with the film.
We use controlled-heat professional techniques, but we are not responsible for paint or clear-coat damage that happens because the underlying finish was already compromised. Removing graphics or film that another shop installed is done at your risk, and we are not liable for damage caused by another installer's product or application.
Aftercare and Warranty
Following the care instructions we provide is a condition of any warranty. We will give you care guidance for your specific product, and those instructions are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
General aftercare includes: wait the recommended cure period before the first wash; hand-wash only; avoid automatic brush car washes, high-pressure jets aimed at edges and seams, harsh solvents, and abrasive products; do not pick at or attempt to repair lifted edges yourself; promptly remove contaminants such as bird droppings, tree sap, bug splatter, and fuel; and do not apply non-approved waxes or products, especially on matte or satin finishes. For PPF, manufacturer coverage may also require periodic inspections by a certified installer to stay active.
Warranties are best understood as two separate promises. The manufacturer's material warranty is offered by the film or coating maker and covers defects in the product itself, such as yellowing, cracking, blistering, or delamination. CM Wraps' workmanship warranty covers our installation quality, such as lifting, peeling, bubbles, or misalignment, for a defined period and only when care instructions have been followed. Material and yellowing or delamination claims go to the manufacturer; lifting, bubble, and fitment claims come to us.
We do not use words like "permanent," "lifetime," "scratch-proof," or "guaranteed forever." Realistic service life depends on the product, color, finish, sun exposure, and care; North Texas heat and UV shorten it, and horizontal panels such as the hood, roof, and trunk age faster than vertical ones. Ceramic coating and PPF improve resistance and ease of care but are not impact-proof, scratch-proof, or a substitute for one another. Coverage commonly excludes collision, road-debris and rock-chip damage, hail, vandalism, improper maintenance, third-party modifications, application over non-factory paint, and any condition you waived at intake; horizontal and low-slope panels may also be excluded.
Our sole obligation for a valid workmanship defect is to repair or redo the affected area, not to provide a refund or pay for vehicle value or other losses.
Recommended · confirm with CollinCM Wraps warrants its installation workmanship — lifting, peeling, bubbling, or misalignment — for 1 year when the care instructions are followed. The film or coating itself is covered by the manufacturer's warranty (commonly up to 10 years for paint protection film, and per-product terms for vinyl wrap and ceramic coating). Collision, road-debris and rock-chip damage, hail, improper care, and horizontal/low-slope panels are excluded.
Appointments, Scheduling, and Cancellations
CM Wraps works by appointment only. After your deposit, we ask that you schedule and deliver your vehicle within a reasonable window so we can hold the right materials and installer time. If you do not schedule or deliver your vehicle within that window, any custom graphics already produced may be held, shipped, or disposed of, and your deposit may be forfeited.
Because a reserved install bay and installer time cannot be resold on short notice, late cancellations, reschedules, and no-shows may incur a fee. For mobile or on-site jobs, you are responsible for rescheduling costs, including any installer travel or downtime.
Recommended · confirm with CollinPlease schedule and deliver your vehicle within 30 days of your deposit. Cancellations or reschedules require at least 48 hours' notice; late cancellations and no-shows may forfeit the deposit. For mobile or on-site work, you are responsible for any travel or downtime costs.
Inspection at Pickup and Timelines
When you pick up your vehicle, please inspect the work. By taking possession, you confirm that the work appears acceptable. Any concern about an installation defect should be reported to us in writing, with photos, within a short, defined window after pickup; after that, the work is presumed accepted. Once your vehicle leaves our shop, we are not responsible for dings, dents, scratches, rock chips, road debris, collisions, weather, vandalism, or other third-party damage.
Any timeline we quote is an estimate, not a guarantee. Completion times depend on your vehicle's condition, how quickly designs are approved, material availability, and the prep and cure time the job requires. We will not shortcut proper prep or curing to meet a date, and we may extend timelines for weather, temperature, or humidity that affects adhesion, or for issues discovered during prep that need additional work.
Recommended · confirm with CollinPlease report any workmanship concern in writing, with photos, within 7 days of pickup. Typical timelines: full wrap 3–5 days, partial wrap 1–3 days, paint protection film 1–4 days, and ceramic coating 1–2 days, depending on vehicle condition and how quickly the design is approved.
Disassembly and Aftermarket Parts
Some installations require removing trim, emblems, weatherstripping, sensors, cameras, or other parts so we can apply material cleanly. These components, especially on older or aftermarket vehicles, can be aged or brittle and may break during normal removal. We will flag this risk and obtain your consent before disassembly where practical, but we are not responsible for parts that fail because they were already worn or brittle.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CM WRAPS IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST BUSINESS, LOST REVENUE, DOWNTIME, OR LOSS OF USE OF YOUR VEHICLE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR SERVICE AT ISSUE.
Risk of loss or damage to your vehicle passes back to you once it leaves our shop. We are not liable for damage to customer-supplied materials or for files that are lost. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.
Recommended · have your attorney finalizeWe recommend including a conspicuous disclaimer of implied warranties (merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). Under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act this has specific form and conspicuousness requirements, so your attorney should draft the final wording.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CM Wraps and its owners and employees from any claims, demands, losses, or damages, including reasonable attorney's fees and costs, that arise from the content or artwork you supply, your conduct, or your breach of these Terms. This includes any third-party claim that artwork, logos, images, or other content you provided infringes a trademark, copyright, or other right, since we rely on your assurance that you secured all necessary rights and permissions.
Permission to Photograph Completed Work
Unless you tell us otherwise in writing before your project is complete, you grant CM Wraps permission to photograph and video your completed vehicle or job and any preliminary designs, and to use those images in our portfolio, website, social media, advertising, and other marketing.
If you prefer that your vehicle not be featured in our marketing, just let us know in writing before the work is finished and we will honor that request. CM Wraps retains ownership of the original design files and artwork we create; you receive the right to use the approved final design on your vehicle once your balance is paid in full.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or related to them, our services, or your use of this website, are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any such dispute will be the state and federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Please report any error or dispute to us in writing promptly so we have a fair chance to make it right. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect.
Recommended · have your attorney finalizeWe recommend requiring good-faith written notice and a 30-day opportunity to cure before any dispute, with binding arbitration in Collin County, Texas (for example, under the Texas General Arbitration Act or with the AAA) and a prevailing-party attorney's-fees provision. Your attorney should review and finalize these.
Changes to These Terms and Contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use our website or services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
